The big event is here! For many artists from Roseville to Colfax - with a brief sojourn out to Lincoln - the Autumn Art Studios Tour is one of the biggest and best events on the calendar. Sponsored by the Arts Council of Placer County, this is the largest ever rendition of the annual tour, featuring over 70 artists.

The tour is self-guided, and runs both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. You can purchase a map for a $5.00 donation to the Arts Council, then spend the weekend cruising the suburbs, small towns and rural roads of the region, visiting with artists, touring their studios and adding to your collection of original works of art.
As of Friday morning, the weather report called for rain on Saturday and showers Sunday. It should be a blustery, wet and beautiful fall weekend - the trees are beautiful and the air is clean. Drive carefully, the roads will be slick.
