Music in the Mountains Fall Fest in Grass Valley

Music in the Mountains Fall Fest runs Nov. 7-16 in the remodeled Amaral Family Festival Center located in Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The first weekend of performances includes the Jim Martinez Jazz Ensemble, piano, sax, cello and more, 8pm Nov. 7. "Tomorrows Classical Stars," featuring Nevada County's most outstanding young artists at 8pm on Nov. 8. Harpist Chiara Coombs, violinist Zach Zyskowski, pianist Jasper Frederickson, with Maestro Perry, will perform.

Internationally known cellist Lubomir Gerogiev is joined by Maestro Perry in virtuoso works for cello and piano of Beethoven, Schubert, Debussy and others at 2pm Nov. 9.
